About Me

woodworking woodcarving sculpture artI have always been stirred by engaging my mind and working with my hands. My parents occupied my childhood with piano and art lessons providing time spent with creative individuals. The forested mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania provided a refuge when I needed to escape and unwind. While studying Broadcast Communications I discovered computer graphics and animation. This exciting medium grew into a hobby, then occupation.

A career in computer motion graphics brought me to live in New Jersey in 1996 to launch a new cable channel. This talented team was awarded an Emmy award two years in a row. During those days I authored two books on the subject of 3ds Max Media Animation to teach aspiring animators how to create complete animations from scratch. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed them.

Several years ago I found enjoyment in the craft of working wood. I keep an enjoyable balance between both computer graphics and woodworking. I often incorporate the two; it’s often easier to pre-visualize a piece on the computer before cutting wood.

The purpose of this site is to serve as my portfolio, please browse my work and discover my stories, inspiration and process too. If you are interested in discussing custom commissions please email your request to initiate a design discussion. I enjoy creating these pieces; thank you for browsing my work.
